talk
I know that I am supposed to be blogging and adding new posts here every day however it does not happen. I used to have a lot to say and I was always very opinionated. I was always ready for a good verbal argument, debate, or lengthy conversation whatever you want to call it. So now it seems that the older I get the quieter I get (some people are quite thankful for this) a chance to listen to others? Maybe. Or is it that as I am in the mid part of my life the youth are noisier and more opinionated than myself? Hmmmmmm. It might just be that as others before me I have wizened to the quiet thought of acting out my views and let the noise clangor from the mouth of babes. More than likely it is simple time that prevents me from doing all that I want to do, saying all that I need to say, and being everyone I want to be. Now I must zip out the door, drive on down the road and give it the ole gung ho for the company man. Till another day I say .......ciao

The Grey Dilemma
This is my dilemma to dye the hair or stay with the natural greying. I am a grandmother to two beautiful grandkids so the greying seems acceptable for that role. Now I also have a 14 year old son still at home and he of course is in no hurry for me to look like a little old lady. The main man in my life seems to not have an opinion on my hair (on the head that is).
I am ok with the growing older and aging process (deep down lets face it, it sucks). I do not feel as if I am actually 51 and I know I do not act like I thought 50 somethings acted. I attempted to lighten my hair on my own with a process that looked good at first but in the end did more damage. So "off with her hair" yelled my hairdresser and chop chop quite short it went. Now in lieu of the economy and attempting to be frugal I am hesitant with what I see as an additional monthly expense. Call me a cheap skate I can handle it.
I have seen beautiful grey haired women and women who look much younger due to a touch of dye. Pros and cons for either choice. Many opinions on the subject. I still am undecided and stand frozen unable to move in one direction or the other. I think my son nailed it when he said as much as he would like to see it gone he does not want to hear the ridicule, for people (these people he refers to - his friends) will surely notice. Hmmmmmmm any more opinions?
